Their love story began quite literally in the clouds. Frannie first spotted Dustin while boarding a flight—something about him caught her attention. Fate worked its magic, and they ended up side by side in the sky. A few hours later, the spark had taken hold. A modern-day meet-cute if we’ve ever heard one!
Since that serendipitous moment, the two have been jet-setting across the globe together. So when it came time to choose a destination to say I do, Curaçao—with its turquoise waters, golden light, and endless charm—felt like the only answer. Frannie & Dustin’s celebration was the perfect blend of elegance, heart, and pure island joy. From the moment they dreamed up their wedding holiday with us, we knew it would be something extraordinary—three full days of connection, culture, and celebration with the people they love most. With so many moving pieces, our team dove headfirst into the logistics, determined to make magic happen at every turn.
We kicked things off with a sunset welcome party at the iconic Grand Café 'Gouverneur De Rouville', perched above the vibrant harbor of Willemstad. Guests enjoyed a walking dinner as the sky shifted from golden to deep blue, with fireworks lighting up the evening around 8pm in a perfect wow moment. And because Frannie & Dustin’s beloved pups couldn’t make the trip, Frannie surprised her groom with a cookies & cream cake topped with adorable replicas of their dogs—cue the happy tears!
The next day was reserved for something deeply meaningful: a traditional Ketubah signing and Shabbat service at the breathtaking Mikve Israel-Emanuel Synagogue, affectionately known as “Snoa.” Steeped in history and glowing with reverence, it was the perfect place to honor this sacred tradition. Afterward, guests gathered at the Marriott for a Shabbat dinner where soft lighting and elegant pink and blue florals brought warmth and intimacy to every table.
Then came the wedding day—and it began with a twist. Instead of easing into the morning, Frannie & Dustin hosted a 5K “Bernie & Rexx Marathon,” lovingly named after their pups. Guests were cheered on by cut-outs of the furry duo and rewarded with pink medals at the finish line. It was the perfect high-energy start to a day that only got better.
The ceremony took place at Paradise Beach, tucked within the Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort. With a soft ocean breeze and turquoise waters stretching into the horizon, the floral-wrapped chuppah stood proudly on a stage, capturing every bit of natural beauty around it. It was simply stunning.
Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed to the reception with an elaborate, custom-built escort wall featuring mini Blue Curaçao bottles—each one holding their name and the keepsake from the island.
Inside, magic continued. Above the dance floor, a lush floral rimmed ceiling installation floated like a dream with white drapes making it look like waves in the middle, drawing every eye upward. Tables were set with thoughtful touches like floating candles nestled in centerpieces, and napkin holders stamped with the couple’s custom wedding weekend logo. Across the room, the larger than life cake wall made a grand statement, with a gorgeous three-tier cake as its centerpiece. And on the other side? A massive DJ booth glowing with the wedding logo, just waiting to come to life.
And when Frannie & Dustin jumped into the booth during the party? Even the DJ said it was one of the most electric weddings he’d ever played. It was a night no one wanted to end—and a wedding holiday no one will ever forget.
