About the couple
When Frannie & Dustin reached out to Caribbean Blue Weddings from sunny Florida, they weren’t looking for just a wedding—they wanted a full-blown wedding holiday. Think: turquoise waters, golden light, their favorite people from all over the world… and, of course, a few surprises along the way. Curaçao was the obvious choice.
Their love story? Well, it literally started in the clouds. Frannie first spotted Dustin while boarding a flight—something about him caught her eye. Fate (and airline seating assignments) worked its magic, and a few hours later, they’d gone from strangers in the aisle to side-by-side in the sky. By the time they landed, the spark had taken hold.
From that moment on, the two became seasoned travel partners—jetting off to destinations far and wide. So, when it came time to choose where they’d say I do, they picked a place that matched their adventurous hearts and vibrant energy. Curaçao wasn’t just a backdrop—it was part of the story.

About the planning
Frannie & Dustin’s wedding holiday was three days of pure island magic—equal parts elegant, heartfelt, and just plain fun. With so many moving pieces (and guests flying in from everywhere), our job was to make the whole thing look effortless… while secretly orchestrating every detail behind the scenes.
We kicked off with a sunset welcome party at the iconic Grand Café Gouverneur de Rouville, perched above Willemstad’s colorful harbor. Guests enjoyed a walking dinner as the sky turned from gold to deep blue, and—right on cue—fireworks lit up the evening. In one of the sweetest moments of the weekend, Frannie surprised Dustin with a cookies & cream cake topped with miniature replicas of their beloved pups, Bernie & Rexx (who, sadly, couldn’t make the trip). Cue the happy tears.
Day two was all about meaning and tradition. Frannie & Dustin held their Ketubah signing and Shabbat service at the stunning Mikvé Israel-Emanuel Synagogue, affectionately known as “Snoa.” With its warm glow and centuries-old history, it was the perfect setting to honor this sacred moment. That evening, everyone gathered at the Marriott for an intimate Shabbat dinner, with soft lighting and pink-and-blue florals that made the space feel like a warm hug.
Then came wedding day—and it started with a twist. Instead of a quiet morning, they hosted the “Bernie & Rexx Marathon,” a 5K fun run named after their pups. Guests crossed the finish line to cheers (and cutouts of the dogs) and were awarded pink medals. High-energy, a little quirky, and totally them.
The ceremony took place at Paradise Beach at the Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort. A floral-wrapped chuppah stood proudly against the turquoise sea, framed by a soft ocean breeze. It was the kind of view that makes you stop for a moment, just to take it all in.
For the reception, guests were greeted by a custom-built escort wall featuring mini Blue Curaçao bottles—doubling as seating assignments and keepsakes. Inside, the design details were everywhere: a lush floral ceiling installation above the dance floor, white draping that moved like waves, floating candles, custom napkin holders stamped with their wedding logo, and a statement cake wall with a towering three-tier cake. Even the DJ booth glowed with their logo, waiting for the moment Frannie & Dustin jumped in to hype up the crowd.
When they did? The dance floor exploded. Even the DJ said it was one of the most electric weddings he’d ever played. And honestly, we believe him.
From a chance meeting in the sky to a marathon on the beach, from sacred traditions to an unforgettable party—Frannie & Dustin’s wedding was the perfect mix of love, personality, and Curaçao magic.

Hands down the best possible experience from start to finish. Our wedding was incredible thanks to Gigi working with us. We are two working professionals who didn’t have the time nor in depth contacts on the island to make this wedding possible. Gig made it possible and more.
Photography, DJ, busses around the island for our three day extravaganza, personal tours, great food, everything was made easier and possible.
