Christine & Jesse, a picture-perfect couple with a dream of exchanging vows in paradise!  It was a delightful moment when they reached out, some nine months before their special day, seeking a guiding hand to bring their Curacao wedding vision to life.  They had already secured a private villa, an intimate haven for their closest loved ones, and their hearts were set on a laid-back, carefree celebration that embraced the essence of a tropical island escape.

But even with their successful careers and impeccable taste, navigating the world of Curacao vendors from afar felt like charting unknown waters.  That's where yours truly stepped in, ready to navigate the currents and transform their dream into a breathtaking reality.

With unwavering trust, they handed me the reins, entrusting me with every detail, from capturing their love story through the lens of a perfect photographer to orchestrating a culinary symphony and designing a décor that whispered romance.  It was an honor to step into the role of their Curacao fairy godmother, weaving together a tapestry of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

About the planning

Oh, the sheer joy of transforming visions into reality! Christine & Jesse's wedding was a true testament to the magic that unfolds when creative dreams take flight.  It was my third time diving deep into the heart of a couple's vision, meticulously crafting a detailed design board that captured their every desire. And let me tell you, witnessing it all come to life was an absolute dream!

For the ceremony, I felt a pull to break free from tradition, to create something truly unique. Instead of the usual floral accents framing the gazebo, I envisioned a cascading waterfall of blooms, draping the entire structure in a symphony of colors. And oh my, the result was breathtaking!  It was as if Mother Nature herself had adorned the gazebo with her finest artistry, creating a breathtaking backdrop for Christine & Jesse's "I do's."

The reception tables were an extension of this romantic vision.  Imagine lush floral pieces overflowing with delicate blooms, interspersed with the warm glow of hurricane lanterns.  The soft hues of pinks, oranges, and creams, accented with touches of gold, created an intimate ambiance, a haven of love and laughter for Christine & Jesse and their cherished guests.

Every detail, from the cascading florals to the intimate table settings, was a testament to the power of collaboration and the beauty of transforming dreams into tangible realities.  It was a wedding where love blossomed amidst a symphony of colors, a celebration that will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Review 

Curacao is such a beautiful place and we are so happy we decided to have our destination wedding there!  The weather is always perfect and there is so much to see and do on the island.  To say hiring Caribbean Blue Weddings to plan your event is the best decision you can make would be an understatement.  If you are looking for no stress, then look no further!  Ghislaine (Gigi) is truly incredible and goes above and beyond to take care of anything and everything!  She coordinated with all of the vendors (food, photography, DJ, décor, MUAH, officiant, etc.) and is very attentive, organized, professional, and just a genuine person.  The set up and décor was so much more beautiful than we had imagined and the day itself was so special.  Everyone from the wedding said how much they loved Gigi!  If you are looking to have a destination wedding in Curacao, we would HIGHLY recommend 10/10!  Thank you Gigi!!! 😊
