With a private villa booked for their nearest and dearest, they envisioned a laid-back, carefree celebration on a tropical island paradise. Despite their busy lives as successful professionals, they were unfamiliar with Curacao and its vendors, so they entrusted me with every detail, from finding the perfect photographer to arranging catering and decor.

About the planning
What I absolutely adored about this wedding was the decor design. It was the third time I had the opportunity to fully translate my vision for the couple into a detailed mood board, and seeing it come to life in such beauty was incredibly rewarding. When it came to the ceremony, I wanted to break away from the traditional two floral pieces mounted on the gazebo. Instead, I opted for a full cascade of florals spanning the entire top of the gazebo. And let me tell you, it turned out absolutely stunning!For the table setting, I envisioned a lush table runner adorned with delicate flowers, interspersed with small hurricane lanterns. The combination of soft pinks, oranges, creams, and gold accents created the perfect intimate atmosphere that the couple had envisioned.

Curacao is such a beautiful place and we are so happy we decided to have our destination wedding there! The weather is always perfect and there is so much to see and do on the island. To say hiring Caribbean Blue Weddings to plan your event is the best decision you can make would be an understatement. If you are looking for no stress, then look no further! Ghislaine (Gigi) is truly incredible and goes above and beyond to take care of anything and everything! She coordinated with all of the vendors (food, photography, DJ, décor, MUAH, officiant, etc.) and is very attentive, organized, professional, and just a genuine person. The set up and décor was so much more beautiful than we had imagined and the day itself was so special. Everyone from the wedding said how much they loved Gigi!
