Gaëlle & Jeroen, a whirlwind of love and international flair! Their journey to the altar began with a spark in August 2022, followed swiftly by a resounding "Yes!"  and a wedding date set for the enchanting month of October 2023. With Gaëlle's roots firmly planted in the sun-kissed shores of Curacao and Jeroen hailing from the charming Netherlands, their wedding planning adventure was a delightful fusion of cultures, each decision a reflection of their unique love story.

About the planning

For Gaëlle & Jeroen, choosing their ceremony location was more than just finding a picturesque backdrop; it was about weaving in cherished memories.  Avila Beach Hotel, a place where Gaëlle spent countless childhood days swimming in the turquoise waters, held a special place in her heart. It was the perfect setting for their "I do's," a place where nostalgia and new beginnings intertwined.

Embracing the unique concept of a Caribbean Fall, their color palette was a symphony of rich burgundy, burnt orange, and soft peach hues, a warm embrace against the island's vibrant backdrop.  And oh, the lighting!  It played a starring role in setting the mood and paying homage to Curacao's enchanting beauty.

At De Gouverneur, their reception venue, imagine a scene bathed in the soft glow of fairy lights.  Suspended from the center fountain, they cast a magical spell, transforming the ambiance into something truly enchanting.  And those centerpieces!  Mason jars, overflowing with autumnal blooms, nestled on rustic wooden slabs and complemented by delicate gold votives, added a touch of rustic elegance to their Caribbean Fall fairytale.

Every element, from the location to the lighting and decor, was a testament to Gaëlle & Jeroen's love story, a harmonious blend of personal touches and the island's natural beauty.  It was a celebration where memories were made and love illuminated the night.

Review 

Ghislaine has lifted all the stress off’ our shoulders by planning every step of our wedding day as well as activities before and after the wedding. This included transport to and from the airport, arranging special rates and a room block at the wedding venue and excursions around the island by bus and boat.

Ghislaine has also made a mood board to share her vision while incorporating our wishes for our big day. All vendors and communication was taken care of without any hassle. Special shout out to the dream team of vendors Ghislaine gathered for us. From the location to decor, live music, food, cake & sweets, photographer and videographer, and hair & make-up!
